The Congregation Collected 32 pairs of work gloves for the Calgary Drop-In-Center   (DIC) in recognition of Labour Day Collected food items for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank at Thanksgiving in addition to its regular collection Collected 50 pairs of winter socks for the DIC At Christmas time church members sing at the Correctional Centre and retirement homes
Many Thanks for all the help and generosity on Homeless Awareness Day.  In 2015 three carloads of bags of winter clothing and bedding were donated to the Calgary Drop-In Centre. Thanks to everyone who donated and carried the bags!
The Youth Group Assembled 50 Birthday Bags for Food Bank children. 40    care    bags    assembled    for    the    Calgary    Women’s    Emergency    Shelter    and    the    North    Central Community Resource Centre 30   Easter   gift   bags   were   assembled   with   30   handmade   Easter   cards   our   youth   for   the   Food   Bank Depots   at   Good   Shepherd   and   Huntington   Hills   Resource   Centre.   There   was   lots   of   community support in 2014 & 2015 especially from the Beddington Coop  store - Thanks all. 50 backpacks and hand made 50 Christmas cards for women and men at the DIC. Assembled    30    SWAT    (Summer    Weather    Accessories    Tote)    Kits    for    The    Mustard    Seed     Street Ministry. Does   the   Sunday   service   occasionally   that   involves   the   entire   congregation   that   is   informative   and entertaining
Calgary   Interfaith   Food   Bank    Depot    –   hampers   are   distributed   every   Wednesday   evening.   In   December it’s Monday & Wednesday evenings. Donations & collection of groceries are ongoing The   collection   of   used   stamps   and   printed   material   for   the   Christian   Salvage   Mission .   This   organization recycles new and used surplus evangelical literature then sends to needy nations worldwide Collection of eyeglasses for Give the Gift of Sight   supporting  Lens Crafters and the   Lions Club Donations of clothing, books, small appliances & goods for the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre  (DIC) A   monthly   Seniors’   Social   is   an   outreach   program   to   our   community   seniors   of   which   many   are   not   church members .    They    get    together    the    third    week    of    the    month    between    September    and    April    with conversation,    snacks    and    entertainment.    (Click    on    the    picture    or    go    to    programs    then    to fellowship groups for more information)
